Hello steemit, I am Adelegan Mercy Adewunmi. Steemit was sounding very funny in my ears when I was introduced to it by my bestie, I felt like what is this one saying now? Don’t mind me, forgive my ignorance.

One morning I received a call from him, after our discussion he still suggested that I join the steemit community, due to his persistent talks about it I decided to check it out. Wow!! Could this be real? I couldn’t believe my eye, I was filled with awe, I couldn’t just imagine a social platform where I can write and still earn? Unbelievable!! I felt cheated immediately because I like writing a lot and I have been writing aimlessly and without gain, so I decided to take to his advice and join the community.

This is my #introduceyourself post, and like I said above my name is Adelegan Mercy Adewunmi (@adehwunmmie). I am a personality that likes to express herself always and I realized most people like me for that, I will always speak my mind I believe you can’t hurt me for talking! Lol!! I am not a talkative though because If a discussion has no point I just keep mute and look.

My bestie @bigeolamt introduced me to this platform, we are very close, so many times I tell him fiction stories just to see him smile, sometimes I put what is on my mind in writing and give him to proof read, at some point he told me “this stuff you do seem to be easy for you right?” and I answered “Yes now” then he advised me to do it on steemit. I didn’t agree at first but right now I wished I had agreed earlier than now. Thanks my sweet friend @bigeolamt, I hope I find it interesting in here.

However I can say boldly that I am a damsel of a thousand talents. Let me mention few, I am a singer in fact every house of worship I joined even if I decide to hibernate, one way or the other I will still be fished out, maybe someday I will own a band, lol.
Another one is that I can sew cloth, this I knew at a tender age from observing my mum when she sows. The last but not the least I will be mentioning out of my thousand talents is hair making. I am a professional hairstylist, it has been helping me most times in school when I am short of cash.
