I'll Introduce my self!

Hi! My name is Arturo Camacho, today is my first day in steemit and I don't quite know how this goes. They only told me to publish an "introduceyourself" so as people can get to know me and money will come later. So let's see if they're right.

So, who am I? Well, not very difficult, I'm fifty something years old, from Caracas - Venezuela since born, I studied Electronic Enginnering at the Simon Bolivar University more than 35 years ago, so I quite forgot mostly all :-) Actually I worked for a couple years in electronics until I found my real passion: Finance.

Right now I work in a telecommunication company doing rentability and sensibility analysis, business cases, rate calculations and all those fascinating and tangible issues where money rules. I'm also an Excel expert, because Finance and Excel fell in love since they met...

I married a wonderful woman 27 years ago, and I have two wonderful, beautiful and intelligent daughters (which I know they're around here in steemit because they recommended me this page). I have a deep passion for classical music since I was young, specially Mahler and Beethoven. I'm trying to learn how to play the guitar, although I feel there is more and more to learn each day.

So how can I be useful here? Well, I think with the two things I do best: Excel Macros and Business Cases. Not long ago I helped a friend from Sevilla (gambler and soccer fan) who asked me to make him a worksheet where he could keep a daily record of all soccer games, betting odds, poisson analysis of expected results and then analyze the real result of the game later on, so as to measure his betting accuracy, he was fascinated! Like those kind of things I've made a lot, specially event simulations, sensitivity analysis of several variables so as to measure their financial impact on a business case. Anyway, I can help a lot if someone wants to.
