Today my girlfriend joined Steemit!

It's been quite a few months since I first joined Steemit. In the last while it has been hard for me to find time for it. Today that may change because my girlfriend @terril is joining me on Steemit! She has a small food blog about vegan cooking which means she will have a lot more interesting to contribute than I do. Now instead of me being on my computer away from her, we can work on our blogs together. I have been telling her for a while that she could get a much larger audience if she posted her recipes on Steemit and today she got her account. I've tried talking to a few people about Steemit, but it's hard to explain where the money comes from especially if they aren't familiar with bockchain or decentralization. A lot of people think it sounds like a scam when they hear that you get money from the internet for doing rather normal things. I guess we are all just lucky to have gotten in on something amazing that the world is yet to discover.
