HI I'm Coming Out Of The STEEMIT CLOSET!

Hi all! My name is Jacob, I go by the name @tyrionlannister . My favorite Game Of Thrones character. I have been on Steemit for a couple weeks. I found the site through my tinkering with bitcoin and other crypto currencies. I'm not a social person, I have a twitter account. I rarely ever use it, even though I have had it since 2009. I'm a photographer, I don't share my images at all. People keep telling me to share them. What's the point to photographing magic for so many years and not let others see the magic you create. Well I have wanted to share for many years. I'm just not the sharing type. I decided I'm getting older, and I really should share my eye for the candid world.  

I love street photography and public events. There is nothing more awesome then being able to capture precious moments. I never like posed photography much. There is nothing more magical then capturing a moment, usually not ever captured by the digital eye. This image below shows how this is done. 

I captured this at a big event at the Seattle Center. This street performer made himself up to look like an old tarnished statue. He would stand there perfectly still, then he would start moving. Giving a big surprise to the ones around him. 

I was really nervous to share myself and my photography. I really needed to build my confidence. I really never like facebook or twitter. Yet twitter is the one I like the best. It's simple to post, and you can keep it short. 

Here is some more about myself. You already know I'm a photographer, I like to cook weird things, and watch lots of TV. Yet I don't watch regular tv anymore. I watch everything later, through streaming. I just don't have time to deal with all the commercials that bombard you so much, and take you out of the show you are watching. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, I lived in California for about a year. I came back up north because of family health issues. It's been a weird life so far.  

I'm really excited about the steemit community. I have already met some great people on here. Some fellow photographers, artists, and tv/movie lovers. I look forward to meeting you all. I uploaded a video. I know I don't show my face. I know the whole verify thing is such a huge deal here on steemit. I revealed my voice and my first name. Someday maybe my face, I hope you all can understand,  doing anything I'm doing is a huge step for me. I'm really out of my comfort zone here.  

I want to thank you all so far for being such great content creators. It's been a confidence booster for me.
