My introduction to Steemit
Hello my Steemians friends and hello world.
Today I write my first post on this great platform of Steemit . I live in Alberta - Canada with my wife , my son and our dog Max in a small quiet town named Vulcan.
Vulcan is about 1300 people and basically inside a triangle of three main cities of Alberta, like Calgary to the north-west, Medicine Hat to the south-east and Lethbridge to our south. Vulcan is very close to our Banff national park and the rocky mountains . Each summer we spend about a week just going to visit Banff, every time there is some thing new to see.
My name is Marcel Victor Vercekaites and one of my passion is gardening , specially growing tomatoes. last year I grew 14 different varieties mostly heirloom types. I save the seeds every season end and keep growing them for years after.
I grow around 600 to 700 plants every year to sell at our " garage spring sale event ", right now I'm starting to set up shop and I have the plants already in my greenhouse.
Some of my other interests are : travels , cooking specially barbecuing , current events world wide and what's up in Alberta - Canada. I enjoy reading the great posts on Steemit . My style of writing is adding a few pictures to the posts , this way the reader will have a better idea of what the hell I'm talking about.
This winter was a very cold one with a lot of snow to boot. At the moment the snow has very much melted away leaving a lot of water ponds all over the province of Alberta. The farmers are waiting to get going on the fields so they can start seeding soon but they all have to wait longer until the ground dries a bit.
Another crazy thing that has created an issue with the farmers is the new fake tax " Carbon Tax ", it's just plain criminal on how the New World Order is manipulating our economy by taking more money away from the working people. Well that's on another post, sorry.

It will take time to build up your account, but don't give up. Might I suggest telling us more about Vulcan? I have never heard of it and am a Sci-fi nerd. I am sure there are more like me that would like to know more about it.
There are lots of homesteaders and gardeners on Steemit who I'm sure would like to hear your stories about growing tomatoes too.
