First short introduction from me with an added topic on inflation, stocks and crypto rates as this is my major confusion and priority to understand.

As steemit newcomer I know it is essential to start with an introduction post.
Well I’m working on this and it will be posted in a matter of time.

I understand it's unusual to start with a topic first.
But my concerns about inflation and crypto have priority.

So in short. I am a recently retired man interested in world changing technology and much more.
My "steemit" goal is to exchange ideas about this with people all over the world so that we can learn from each other. Also through my previously learned knowledge and experience.

What I now want to share with you and build a start from this understanding by adding people as a friend, group or follower who have ideas about this.

My fear concerns global inflation versus cryptocoins.

I had understood that a purpose of Cryptocoins in particular Bitcoin can be used as an inflation hedge.
However, now that there is high worldwide inflation, the prices drop a multiple compared to stocks.
I conclude that this is because there are many speculators who want to make high profits with crypto and work with high leverage.
As a result, they are forced to sell by stop loss or liquidation.
These speculators may be mostly private fortune seekers who do not understand the objective or take the risk.
The use of an inflation hedge is probably out of the question for the time being?
I think that the Bitoin price will stabilize again and rise as we move further in time. Fortune seekers will return at a certain value level and there is more and more worldwide fame. There are also a lot of investments by companies that support the market and the blockchain.
More and more banks are also making it possible to trade crypto via their systems.
And if one or more institutional investors again add crypto to their portfolio, there will certainly be more private individuals.
