Introducing mySelf. I know i am still part of steem early users.
I am an observant person. I notice a lot of things around me, about the places and the people, I pick up body language and often know how people are feeling before they even do.
I find when I’m writing I struggle with accurately getting the vision in my mind onto paper with the degree of accuracy I want to portray. I like to weave imagery into the story in a way that means something, but it leaves my writing so description heavy it’s worse than Tolkien 😅
So guys, any advice for cutting down on description? How to streamline your writing so that it has flow and doesn’t lack imagery?
How do you write so that your readers have a vivid experience, without boring them?
*the reason I mentioned my observance is because I want to describe every facet of the way a person is standing and the expression on their face and the way the room looks and I know that’s not very exciting to read 😂
