My name is Laura
Hello everyone. I'm slowly beginning to realize that steemit.com is not exactly the way I thought when I heard of it. I am very glad to be part of your family. I feel proud to be able to enroll on the steemit. com.
Let me tell you something about me. My name is Laura and I am 30 years old, but I feel like at 18 years old. I really like Spanish, I would love to be born in Spain. I really want to I visit Spain, I hope soon. Right now I live in England, more precisely in Oxford, and I work at the Mini Cooper, the car factory. In the future I really want to move to Spain.
In my spare time I like to cook, go out with friends and, of course, shopping

Hi Lora,
Im pretty new here also. Im still a minnow, but trying hard to become a dolphin. Welcome and I hope you will soon get to move to
Spain.
Hello Laura,
Welcome to Steemit. I'm very curious about the comment you made:
Would you mind elaborating about what your initial thoughts were and how/why these ideas have changed? I think most people come here with some sort of pre-conceived idea and then after being here a while, reality sets in.
I only heard about Steemit as a social media platform that pays you for content and was intrigued by that. I joined without knowing anything else and just jumped in to find out. I made a few mistakes at first but did a lot of research and soon understood what I was dealing with. Then hardfork 19 came along and changed things a bit. Now the price of steem is taking a nosedive and further changing things. From all of this, I learned that Steemit is in constant flux and nothing remains the same except for the fact that you can earn Steem and SBD by participating in the community.
Welcome to steemit Laura, hope you settle in well and find success on here, it's a great place to be
Welcome to Steemit @lora87! :c)
Yes, we cannot choose the circumstances of our birth but we can certainly act to choose the way that we live. The best part is that you don't need to be accepted by the Spanish to be Spanish (though cool if you are). :c)
Since you're still quite new here, a quick read through this post may prove helpful.
