Introducing myself to Steemit

Hi folks, I'm a 24-year-old finance student named Nic (don't have a photo on hand, sorry) living in the UK. I'm interested in cryptocurrencies and naturally gravitated towards Steemit. I love the idea of this place, having stared at my karma on reddit wondering what on earth the point was... I'll be writing about investing, finance, cryptocurrency valuation (I'm writing my dissertation on this, stay tuned), futurology, and maybe the occasional political post. The main cryptos I'm interested in are ethereum and monero, although steem seems promising :D. I worked as a journalist for a couple years before getting into finance so I have a good deal of experience writing about regulation, the impact of US law on financial markets, and crucially discussing complex issues in simple terms.

What I can offer you: innovative looks at the value of cryptocurrencies. Creative investment ideas. Investigations into financial crime. Applying valuation models to novel assets (such as this very platform). Pretty charts and graphs. I try to write for a mainstream audience, and I hate excessive jargon, so I can promise you simple, accessible posts. Follow me if any of this interests you.
