My Journey Begins here on steemit - Originate from Cebu Philippines
Hello Stemians!! My name is Joseph Icot, I am from Cebu Philippines. I am in my first semester of 4th year in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at Cebu Technological University. In this memo, I am going to tell you a little bit about my background, goals and why do I came here on STEEMIT.
My Short Background
I was born in a small village here on Cebu Philippines. This photo is my family consist of four members I'm the youngest and I have an older brother. I don't like cooking but I love food and I love eating it, food is the only substance in this world that can make me feel better everytime when I get bored or makes me feel reliev from stress and loneliness. I also plays Dota 2 and MOBA games like Mobile Legends.
My parents are sitting in the bench inside the graduation hall. The graduation song starts to play, everyone's tear drops starts to fall. Nothing beats the feeling wearing my academic dress and square academic cap, recieves my diploma while shaking hands with our respective deans.
What a prostigious dream to be achieve. For me the greatest masterpiece that I can give to my admirable parents is my college degree, because I know they value it most. My parents did not finished their studies even elementary, my father is just an tricycle driver they call it here on the Philippines. But poverty is not an excuse to sent us to college. My parents once told me, we maybe not rich nor we may dont have a tons of dutches but the only unyeilding treasure that we as your parents can give is education. They took sacrifices and suffer financial problems but now a big thumbs up for my admirable parents because my older brother is already an Industrial Engineer and currently working in a private company. I am proud of many things in my life but nothing beats being my parents.

WHY DO I CAME HERE?
The influence of my fellow classmates brings me here. Steeming started to be a part of our lifes that gives a big impact to the whole class. This is new to me because instead of posting of nonsense photos or videos on facebook, why not I'll do it in a educational matter on steemit it would help me earn money for my financial needs without asking financial support from my parents, and I think this is a good practice for students like me. They also told me the gratifying reviews of this platform that hooked up my interest.
