Hi there Steemit People!
I am pleased to have a place to share and learn with you.
I am a people person and currently work in the field of substance abuse prevention. Part of that work includes teaching parenting classes, which I find very rewarding. I am looking forward to sharing content about children and families and relationships and probably a few surprises.
So let me tell you a little about me.
I live in Western North Carolina, which is one of the most beautiful places in the USA, but don't tell anyone! We have too many people moving here already!
I am married and altogether I have 4 adult daughters and 7 grandchildren with 1 on the way! Super-excited!
I love kids and am passionate about children's issues. I think being a parent is one of the most important jobs a person can have. It is not always a walk in the park, but it is always an adventure! This is my adorable great-niece, Aniya!

I love animals and currently I have a very large and cuddly cat named Ranger. He helps keep life interesting.
