Friendship Over

I trusted a friend. Yes, she's my bestfriend since the world begun. After college we worked apart. Since then we barely keep up with the lives of one another. But once we see each other it feels like nothing change since we left. She got married and have kids. I, on the other hand as of this writing is engaged to be married. What hurt me? There are circumstances that is difficult to describe. It was more of she always receiving in all aspect. But when I need it she couldn't repay it. I know that if you give don't expect something in return. But life for me is not easy as well. I need a friend to lean on. To listen. To give advice. But nothing. I decided to just go with the flow. And it hurts me more that she didn't even bother. I wonder is the friendship all along is one sided? Maybe? Who knows?
