Becoming Genuinely Interested in Others.
There are ways to pretend to be interested in other people and you know deep down within you that you do not care a bit about whatever happens to them, there are so many reasons why people pretend to love others; it may be because of the temporal benefit they can obtain at present or maybe they want the person to have a good impression about them.
I have this friend whose parents are really wealthy and so many people wanted to get close to her because of the financial benefit they can obtain from her, she could not differentiate between those that loved her or those that just wanted her for the money, but she still moved along with her numerous league of friends who wanted to associate with a rich and influential man’s daughter.
What scared her the most was that she had so many lovers who proposed love to her continually, they all wanted to get close to her for the benefit they could obtain, the guys kept coming after her each day and she got more and more confused, she reached a age that she was supposed to get settled and marry someone she loves. She knew the one she loves dearly admits all the guys that were proposing love to her but she was not certain about the one that loved her more.
When her Mum heard about it, she said we should lie to the men that she had a particular disease, which we did and when we told the guys about it, they all stopped visiting and calling except one who still called to check up on her.
She even tried calling them but they all refused to pick her call, at the end of the test we were able to make our conclusion about the guy that really loved her and that was the one she settled with.
My point exactly is ;why pretend to love people because of what you can benefit from them, if you do not love them for real then it is better you let them be.
