Jake's Point, Kalbarri, Western Australia

This is my first entry into @intrepidsurfer's contest. Big thanks to him for running this giveaway and greetings to all from Bangkok, Thailand!

Jake's Point is in Kalbarri, about six hours north of Perth in Western Australia. While this caliber of wave would be packed with people where I'm from (southern California) I only counted two people out on this day.

I took this photo a few months ago during a two week road-trip camping through Western Australia with @suitcasemama and our toddler. Find out more about our adventure here.

I heard before that Kalbarri can get quite big!! But let me guess...it´s a left?! 😉

I will be at the eastcoast for 3 month starting end of october, just in case you guys are there as well.

Tons of lefts on the West Coast! :)

Which east coast, Australia? We'll be here in Thailand or back in the States for the holidays. But always looking for an excuse to go back to Australia, we had a great time there!
