There are some that are afraid to give
There are some that give when they have verified the need of those who ask of them
There are those who give as they are asked
There are those who give even when they are not asked.

I have seen under the sun the following givers and I also realised that

They are those who depend on asking. These ones won't even give a kobo themselves. Yet...

There are those who ask because they are in lack
There are those who ask to enrich themselves
There are those who ask to prey on people's goodwill
They are those who won't ask, though they are in a crisis of need
And there are those who ask for others

If you must give, be a channel of blessing
Whether the receiver deserves it or not
If you are scared to give, remember that the resources don't last forever and so would go anyway
If you must think about it, consider that God blessed your labour's with favour, not because you are too good to be devoured but He decided that you be His financial steward

Don't let people's lack of faithfulness affect your giving
Trust God with the seed
He gives you seed to sow
What He gives another as bread to eat
Ours is not to eat what we ought to sow
Or seed what we ought to eat.

If you must receive, pray for the person that gives
If you must receive, remember that God would want you to also be a channel of blessing by giving to someone else
If you must receive, be faithful to the cause for which it was given.
If you must receive, prepare for your time to give is coming

We give or we receive, either way let your hands be open
And your mind free to do both.
