Hello lovely people of Steemit! My name is Mitch and I got introduced by my bestfriend Thea or @pinaynomad -such a bright light in my life, my sister, my comrade, my mentor and one of the biggest inspirers in my life. She was non-stop talking last night about how Steemit could help me grow my potential in Digital world, social aspects, and the opportunity to share and inspire each other for the betterment of Digital world is what I chose to join here.

Getting to know me:
Kuala Lumpur was my home for almost 5 years working as a Marketing Executive then in 2015 I just decided to return home to change, find, and build myself and luckily I was able to keep my work remotely. Some moments that definitely shined brighter than others. A highlight on so many levels. This was certainly a year of ups and downs. Lots of them. This was the year I got even healthier than I thought I could ever be. Big shocker right there, but much welcomed. This was the year that started and ended with working in Digital world, lots of greens, but even more sun and sea squished (Wakeboarding and surfing) neatly in between. I've been fortunate enough to have tapped into my creative space once again and thought of new things to do for this year, and perhaps maybe even the next. There were the hard bits, the frustrating bits, the grief, and the learning bits, but these were the important pieces of the journey that brought me to where I am now.

My 33rd year is coming next week, and this is me as I rose from bed this morning.
No makeup, no filters, no fluff.
With just a few wrinkles creeping up here and there, but with a lot more insecurities disappearing into the ether, slowly, year by year.
With all the dreams and plans that compose my life's checklist. And all my inspirations, aspirations, achievements, failures and lessons learned pushed deeply into the backbone of the incredible force that drives me.

This is me with all the self acceptance that came along the last 33 years, ingraining itself joyfully—and sometimes begrudgingly—into my soft heart and stubborn mind.
This is me with all my passions and blessings. With all the experiences that make up my life--whatever they are.

I don't feel any older than I did yesterday, last month or last year. Quite honestly, I don't feel any older than I did five years ago! If at all, what I have done for myself the last 365 days has brought me more happiness, a better sense of wellness, and another layer of positive energy towards life that I'll be arming myself with in the years to come.

So cheers to the great year that was, and to all the years ahead! To doing what I set out to do. To the good and bad, and all things in between. To life, and all its vibrancy! To those who have brought the most meaning to my personal journey. To my family and loved ones, and everyone else who has joined me for the ride.

The universe is certainly getting a big high five from me. Because life is only as good as you make of it. And I'm happy to be with all that I've built so far and to be here at Steemit. Thank you again @pinaynomad I am so excited to connect, learn, share, and to meet you all Steemians! :) xx
