RSK instead of Steem Engine?
Hello, guys. Steem is not fully well and he will never have as much as we would like. For a long time I've been trying to replace the witnesses with an efficient and decentralized system on Proof of Stake (I'm not a PoS fan, but it's better than DPoS).
This causes a lot of problems in that people don't have power over the network here, they're just a cog insignificant.
As I said - it's impossible to change it. However, I would like the projects like SteemNova, DGameMarket and others to be flexible and at the same time as decentralized as possible.
The magic token
I keep thinking about generating a token that might come in handy. Here I consider 3 platforms:
- Steem Engine
- SMT
- RSK
Steem Engine everyone knows, SMT is a platform on Steem (which will be) to generate tokens. RSK is interesting because it is based on strong foundations compared to Steem (unfortunately).
The plan with RSK would be that we would be closer to Bitcoin than Steem. In case of emergency, you wouldn't lose services and there wouldn't be any major problems.
On the other hand, you would have to pay transaction fees, which are not big, but still.
For now I'm thinking about creating a Steem <-> RSK goal.
What do you think? Would you use RSK? Do you prefer SE / SMT?
Great arguments for all options. Thanks for posting. I like the speed of the steem blockchain and we see DEC token doing well on steem-engine with little downtime
Please consider using steem-engine and also utilizing PoS for a native SteemNova token like the other tribe Creative Coin Crypto CCC
