Does it make sense to have your own personal blog?

I will look at this question from my point of view. To begin with, everything that goes on the Internet stays on the Internet. Secondly, often most people are not that interested in you, or even the opposite, you may be more jealous. You can share photos and emotions with people close to you in messengers. But you still need to have common sense and understand that there are some things that only you are destined to know. For me, social media is an opportunity to promote my product, nothing more. Having your own personal blog is worthwhile if you have a large audience. For an unpopular person, I don't see the point. You can store your photos in the clouds.
In the end, I want to say that everyone decides for himself what to do on the Internet. This post is my view on the subject.
