In World War I, when the powerful nations of Europe were losing their power, a micro-organism was spreading all around. Not only shot and bayonet injuries, but people are also dying of influenza. All the warring countries thought that this was their only pain. So they wanted to hide the loss of life in this way. As a result, everyone was overwhelmed by the news of influenza, except for one Spain. Saying that Spain was not at war, they did not hesitate to reveal the truth. As a result, the epidemic became known as the Spanish flu (Spanish people called it the French flu), which was recognized as a global pandemic or pandemic in early June.

When the Spanish flu, or influenza, spreads around the world as a global pandemic, a fancy phenomenon has occurred in the world just before it. The October Revolution. Earlier, however, Russia was hit by an epidemic. But after 1917, the nascent socialist state, the Soviet Union, was then defeated by internal and external shocks. That epidemic a hundred years ago was undoubtedly a turning point in the history of the world.

When the newly formed Soviet Union was hit by the Spanish flu, the region was ravaged by civil war. This June marked the beginning of the War Communism era in Russia, which lasted until March 1921. At this time, just as the conflict between the revolutionary and counter-revolutionary groups is going on inside Russia, so are the crises in the outside world, especially with their position in the First World War. The new socialist government is busy rearranging everything by introducing new land laws, nationalization, new exchange practices, and new structures of production and distribution system. The 'ten days that shook the world' are still giving birth to new history every day. It was at this time that the flu, which swept through Russia, claimed the lives of 5–25 million people by 1920.

Looking at today's time, just as a similar epidemic is seen, so are the signs of the rise and fall of energy. Like hundreds of years ago, Europe and America have become the biggest victims of the epidemic. As before, the least affected areas are China and its environs. In this case, two reasons are mentioned. First, many parts of China are still outside of colonial power. As a result, influenza did not get a chance to spread there. Second, China's traditional medicine and healthcare are already at the forefront of epidemiology. But this time too, looking at China, it seems the same. Although the Kovid-19 has its starting point in China, it has caused more damage in other countries than in China.

The United States is entering the international arena as soldiers and generals during the epidemic a hundred years ago. And in today's epidemic, the United States is isolating itself from the international arena. It was during the Spanish flu a hundred years ago that the world saw the birth of two political poles. After 1990, one of its poles disappeared, and the rest of the world accepted the monopoly of the United States. But with the turmoil of 2008 approaching, the United States seems to be hinting at a new story.
