If you wonder where to focus more once you have decided to build a project and you want to give a focus on one aspect more than another, well once in all you have to know it depend on what you are building and what is your purpose, and whom your users, mostly it’s better to give more focus into interface and here is why.

1- no matter how well your code is if your interface bad then your project worthless.

Simply people don’t know the effort you put into your code and they don’t interact directly with it. They don’t care. The only thing make them happy is attractive interface, colorful, simple.

2- three clicks no more.

You don’t have to cross more than that to satisfy your users needs. User must get what he want within 3 clicks only. Not more than that. Because users can get so boring.

3- simple enhanceable interface

This is so important once you want to make and upgrades or updates on your project in future. You should keep it as simple as you can because users don’t like root changes.

snapchat just made a root changes in their interface and now many users quit snapchat

In summary. All i want to say is don’t focus or ignore your code. But focus and care of interface. And for sure as i said in the beginning it different from case to another from project to another. Sometimes you have to give more focus on your code.
