The spiral lookout tower in Denmark
Architectural studio EFFEKT has designed a pedestrian path, offering tourists and photographers to climb to an impressive height and admire the stunning views of the surrounding Danish forest. The idea is to offer people a bird's-eye view without destroying the environment.
It consists of an internal 600-meter ramp, through which visitors can climb from the surface of the earth to the level of the treetops, all the while having a 360-degree view of the hilly landscape typical of this region.
The structures that make up the way to the tower are divided into two sections: the upper alley is at the level of one of the oldest trees growing in the forest, while the lower path runs through the zones of growth of younger trees.
A unique project of its kind is planned to be completed in 2018.
