Instagram Stories to be screened on US stadiums

in #instagram7 years ago

The Stories is a resource that everyone loves to hate.

He first came to Snapchat and is now in almost everything Mark Zuckerberg. Now, the big US sports franchises have found another way to shove the Stories down their throats: on stadium screens.

The technology, developed by TagBoard, is already in use in at least three teams. The Philadelphia Eagles (NFL), Seattle Sounders (MLS) and San Francisco Giants (MLB) already have in their stadiums screens with capacity to show the Stories. Baltimore Ravens (NFL), Minnesota Vikings (NFL) and Bayern Munich are some of the other teams that should also use the Stories this season.

The idea is that the resource serves to leverage the amount of followers in the social networks of the teams - of course, also compete with the mobile's own fan. Last season, when TagBoard tested using Snapchat in the New Orleans Pelicans (NBA) arena, it was seen almost double the number of views in the franchise profile on the social network.

For now, only the content of the teams themselves will be pinned to pass on the big screens. However, in the future the fans themselves may also have their Stories from within the stadium passing on the big screen.

With the success of this type of content within the stadiums, teams may be able to raise sponsorship for this particular part of the screen. A good way to make money and engage the supporter.
