Listen with curiosity: Speak with honesty.

When the two ears are put side by side together, it forms the shape of the heart. Interestingly, the word “ear” sits right in the middle of the word “heart” (h-ear-t).

The ear is the way to the heart, so if you want someone’s heart, and also to be in the state of loving, learn to listen to one another with curiosity, the greatest problem with communication is most people don't listen to understand. we most of the time listen to reply. When we listen with curiosity, we don't listen with the intent to reply. We listen for what's behind the words.

Sometimes all a person wants is an empathetic ear, therefore, just offering a listening ear and as well an understanding heart for the person suffering can be a big comfort....
