In MOTHER's WORKSHOP
The Home as a workshop
According to Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia Dictionary, a workshop may be a room or building which provides areas, tool,or machinery that may be required for the manufacture or repair of manufacture goods
Metaphorically, the home is a workshop. like the physical workshop, it is where parents, especially the mother manufactures (bears and raises ) children for the future or repair them (correct them and mould their characters).
It is where the woman exhibits all her acquired skills of homemaking and child training, and passes on the same to her children.
Charity begins at home, says an old cliche, so learning and skill acquisition begins at home with the mother as the trainer and her children the trainees.
Here the mother grooms her kids for a productive adult life. A home is where children are raised; morals are inculcated; characters are moulded; leaders are born, bred and developed; and the future is shaped.
We may not be able to prepare the future for our children, but we can at least prepare our children for the future. Cos children are the world's most valuable resources and it best hope for the future.
