Anyway,
I couldn't agree more, and actually made very similar experiences (even though, luckily I never broke down).
I prefer saying "Everything has it's purpose", through. Of course everything has a reson. Your clutch was old, so it broke. The age was the reason.
But the purpose of your breakdown, that's your chance to explore new territory in Austria and take cool photos (beautiful, btw!)
