Weight Training's great influence to who you become PART 1

in #inspiration7 years ago

One of the biggest changes that I have made during the decade of my life was including weight training to my daily routine. At first it was a matter of getting bigger muscles and pretty much going for the same goal as 99% of the people that do start weight training. As time progressed I have noticed a change not just physically but mentally too. My approach to the gym went from "it's just another day of pain" to "I Have to go to the gym". I was finding it more and more of a therapy session where a lot of stress, anger and frustration is released. The benefits of that release was obtaining a stronger and leaner body, plus it was a good excuse to eat.

over the past few years I noticed that who I am and who I was were two completely different people. I was not just growing more confident but I was more in control of who I was and what i did. I used to have a bad history of building up my temper and letting it out in the wrong way. this caused many fights to happen and even needed to be disciplined by my parents if I lashed out at them. This new development was definitely not because I am just growing up, although it may have played a part, but also because I feel that all the issues I had would be thrown away when I'm in the gym.

In part two I would be talking about how this has affected the way I carry myself in public. The details in this topic represent a wide range of improvements I have had throughout the years. They are details I look forward to sharing with you all :)
