THE BLESSEDNESS OF GIVING

The practice of given tithes and offering is not an innovation in the new Testament Church. It has been in practice by those who were faithful to God. The first mention of tithing was that of Abraham who gave tithes to Melchizedek when the latter blessed Abraham. Jacob, one of the patriarchs, also paid tithes unto God. During the dispensation of the law, all Israelites were commanded to bring their tithes "into the place where the Lord your God shall choose", that is His house.

Tithing is part of true worship and there are blessings in giving tithes and offerings unto the Lord. One of the secretes of spiritual and material blessings is faithfulness in the giving of our tithrles and offerings.

It is important for believers today to know where to bring their tithes to. Tithes must be brought to the store house of God where the gospel is being preached in truth and where the propagation of the most important condition, however, is that you must surrender your heart to God before God can be pleased with your tithes and offerings. You must be born again and become a child of God.

I wonder why most believer think that tithings are for people of the old Testament Bible,if this is true then does it mean that as Christian s we no longer use the old Testament Bible in the Church anymore?

Friends! Do not abuse the Grade God has given to you,since grace came Christian s forget about the law of God this is why Apostle Paul said: "Shall we continue to sin became grace is available for us"? God forbid.

Brethren in Christ! Run from anyone who is against paying tithes and offerings, such people are from from fighting God and when you stay in their midst,you are no different from them. They will corrupt your Christian believe.

The promise of God for those who pay their tithes and offerings is this " And I will open the windows of heaven for you and pour out blessings for you where most and will not see to scatter; and will destroy the devourer for your sake. Now what about when you don't pay your tithes and offerings, whatbdobyou think would happen to you? Opposite of what God said He would do for those that pays their tithes and offerings.

So, ifnyou want the blessings of God to remain permanent in your life, endeavor to abide by the Law of God which says pay your tithes and offerings.

Malachi 3:8

Can a man rob God? Yet you have robbed!
You have cheated me of the tithes and offerings due to me. You are under a curse, for your whole nation has been cheating me.
Bring all the tithes and offerings into the store house so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do says the Lord of Heaven's Armies, "I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won't have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test! Your crops will be abundant, for I will guard them from insects and disease.
Your grapes will not fall from the vine before they are ripe' says the Lord if Heaven's Armies.
