Nuevo día del inktober y ahora el tema propuesto es "Husky" , que definitivamente es una de mis razas preferidas de perro porque se parece mucho a un lobo y además que sus ojos son muy llamativos.

Para seguir practicando y habituarme mas a la realización del dibujo hice una nueva propuesta a modo de retrato para practicar las luces y sombras además que el realismo es algo nuevo para mi porque generalmente estoy acostumbrado a hacer caricaturas y es por eso que este cambio para mi es todo un reto.

Another day and a another new entry for the "inktober" and now the proposed theme is "Husky" which is definitely one of my favorite dog breeds because it looks a lot like a wolf and also that its eyes are very striking and interesting.

I wanted to keep moving forward in this art world and get more used to the practice of drawing, I made a new portrait because realism is something new for me since I am usually used to making cartoons and that is why this change for me it's a real challenge.

Process / Proceso

Lo primero que se hace en todo dibujo es tomar referencias de medida de la forma y de las partes donde se necesita más tinta. Es preferible hacer esto con un lápiz por si quieres borrar, en este caso lo hice con el propio lapicero pero la desventaja es que la tinta no la puedes borrar.

El Husky siberiano es una raza que tiene diferentes tonos de pelo, algunas zonas son blancas pero otras partes en contraste son muy oscuras así que puse una líneas en las partes donde es más oscuro para aplicar más tinta como referencia.

The first thing thats done in every drawing is to take measurement as a reference for shapes and to mark the parts where more ink is needed. It is better to do this with a pencil in case you want to erase and correct something, in this case I did it with the pen itself but the disadvantage is that you cannot erase the ink.

The Siberian Husky is a breed that has different hair tones, some areas are white but other parts in contrast are very dark so I put a lines on the parts where it is darker to apply more ink as a reference.

Luego podemos empezar a aplicar lineas suaves en las partes donde el pelo es mas oscuro. Esta es la parte mas larga del proceso ya que tienes que tener mucha paciencia porque cada pelo es un trazo, recomiendo no apretar mucho el lapicero o lapiz si no realizar trazos lo mas suave posible hasta llegar al tono deseado.

After that we can start applying soft lines on the parts where the hair is darker. This is the longest part of the process since you have to put a little patience because each hair is a stroke, I recommend not squeezing the pen or pencil too much but instead make strokes as smooth as possible until you reach the desired tone.
