On this occasion I will tell you about the church of the Assumption of Mary in Oxaca, our remains of the Catholic Church, which is the Assumption of Mary, which resurfaced in the waters of the Benito Juarez Dam in Mexico, Oaxaca.

It was built in the 16th century by Dominican friars in a town of the time known as Jalapa el Viejo, on the isthmus of Tehuantepec, this church of the Assumption of Mary was submerged in 1962 due to the construction of the Benito Juárez dam. This church can only be seen again in times of drought where the dam lowers its volume of water.
