Siendo técnico medio en Química y estudiante de ingeniería metalúrgica trabajaba como asistente de laboratorio en la UPELIPB, pasantías en Covencaucho Industrias, luego en Siderúrgica del Turbio, Grado de Ingeniero para desarrollar cargos de ingeniero de Planta en Construcciones PerTab, posteriormente Jefe de Transporte en la UPELIPB, maestría en Educación en Enseñanza de la Química, Docente en la UFT y UPELIPB, Jefe Sección de Servicios y Mantenimiento UPELIPB, Jefe Sección de Planta Física UPELIPB, y actualmente Jefe del Servicio de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo en UPELIPB
