I am a VERY good shot, and I don't want to accidentally hit someone else with the shotgun pattern. I prefer one round between the eyes....

ok but what if the target is moving or the conditions are in the dark? I like the chances of hitting something more with a shotgun, especially if it's in the city where bullets might go through a wall and into a neighbor's house or in the street or something.
I leave a few lights on that will give me an advantage. I use laser sights on my pistols, and I use red dot sights on the rifle.
I have a brick house, and frangible ammo, BUT there is NOTHING wrong with a good shotgun! You should have a KSG, LOL!
