RE: The real danger to our power grid; supposed "Smart Meters", that need to be realistically marketed as fire starters!

Thanks, he seems like a nice person. He was flagged by a whale, and it hurt him a lot; as if the HF was not bad enough!

Besides that, it was an informational post. WHO flags an informational post? What is this, facebook or red China?

>:(

I don't know why someone would do that to a small account. This is bad use of power to be honest but we can't say much, who knows someday some big whale would come up to flag us too :D

I read that post and I couldn't figure out why anyone would flag it

There is always the risk of offending a whale, should not be that way, but that is the reality we live with!

But with all the little guys up voting this post, we were able to over ride the flag, but it took a lot of us to do it!

I blocked the guy I think did the flagging, so he will not bother me too.

That seemed prudent....

:)

True that, in real life too we live with that risk so it's just the same as dealing with life outside steemit.

I never knew we could block those guys, make a list of them who do this flagging with little accounts and we should block them all in one go :D plus, I am glad you over help the guy

There should not be levels, in life or on Steemit! But we live with what we must, and proceed where we can; and sometimes we need a harpoon!

Yes, on their page, right next to the follow button is another button called Mute. Hit it, and the link is severed.

I wish I had a Moby Dick (bad whale) list, but that is not published.

:)

Yeah, but with level we know who has an old account or who is more experienced in the platform so he should get maximum outcomes that's fine but giving out equal opportunity to the smaller accounts to grow should be a must.

I want that too, once if some one uses their power the wrong way we should have a list of people to add them to.

Sadly new accounts are not being treated even close to equally, and will not be, something we must live with!

I still like the idea of a harpoon, ROFLOL!

A bad whale (Moby Dick?) list does not exist, and likely would not be tolerated anyway.

I wish these whales would think, and remember what it was like to be pond scum on steemit!

>:(

Some one would not want them self to be nominated in the list when they can actually control a platform.
new accounts are no where to be found, After keeping up with a lot of people for months you expect new accounts to come and follow you right away so you can take some burden off you but this has gone really bad for us, like even after months we are unable to find anyone with lesser reputation coming up to us for support or to support us :D

If all of us big people would only think what it was to be small, the world would surely turn into a good place overnight

Yes the "I MADE IT, to hell with you!" mentality; is a poor way to design an upgrade to a blog post system!

This does appear to be a part of what happened. The Hard fork has unloaded the hardware that is steemit, which is good, but at what cost? I fear for the future of steemit, with very few new accounts showing up, and even fewer being retained long term; we have soem soul searching to do!

New account generation and retention should be a primary focus when they meet soon! There needs to be a group, including whales down to pond scum, that are tasked with fixing this single near fatal problem!

Until this is fixed, the future of this platform is at risk!
