Took a while but finally targeted
It sure did take a while for little me to get on a downvote bot list. I didn't really ask for it just supported others being tageted to keep their speech. The future of steem will certainly be interesting. Do I powerdown and go somewhere else to stake? Probably not because I dont like bullies.

So you are supporting people for being targeted because of their speech, and you don't like bullies, but are equally willing to engage in that type of behavior yourself? Just seems a bit inconsistent to me.
I can see your point of view and consider it valid if there was proportional force.
The situation might compare if I had multiple shadow accounts and bots while pretending I had nothing to do with a given situation. I downvote with less than a penny and immediately become a hypocrite.
Does this line of thinking mean that you are pro groupthink? Such unproportional force doesn't seem to be much different from a platform claiming to be a public square while acting as a publisher.
I wonder how many times you vote against the centralization and who will remain to defend you in the end. Thanks for at least making me think.

Why use force at all when communicating with people? If one wants to persuade another, they should listen with a willingness to communicate back and forth. Perhaps when an individual is gaining no ground, they can agree to disagree and walk away or choose not to respond. Using force seems like the least productive thing to do. This is even more relevant when trying to come to a meeting of the minds. Sometimes I wonder how downvotes would translate into real-life behavior.
I could apply that logic to communication. When limited resources are involved and force is applied against a group then an equal and opposite reaction is required.

The informationwar group recieves delegations from Steemians for the purpose of curating content. Sometimes content curation and flags happen on the same post. However, we do not focus on curating content simply because it was flagged. There are groups on discord who specialize in doing just that, that is to say they do their best to neutralize flags with their available steem power. If you ask me groups like freezepeach are not recieving enough steem delegations for their anti-censorship efforts.
