THE TRILOGY THAT HOLDS THE DICTATORSHIP - VENEZUELA
In the face of his new presidential term, Maduro has requested financing from three countries
The trilogy that sustains the revolution
After 20 years of revolution now led by Nicolás Maduro, after the death of Hugo Chávez, Venezuela is in an economic crisis that several experts have labeled as "the most disastrous" in Latin America. This has not prevented Chavez from perpetrating in power, he is even facing a new presidential term on January 10.
Given this, Maduro has obtained financing from three countries, since the country is in default since 2017 after the non-payment of 200 million dollars in global bonds. That is why the President of the Republic has been entrusted this last year in seeking foreign support.
CHINA
In September, Maduro visited China, where the government of Xi Jinping pledged 5 billion dollars to fight the crisis, thus increasing the debt with the Asian country to 28,000 million dollars
TURKEY
The relationship between the two countries would have a business intention that "amounts to 4,578 million euros"
RUSSIA
This Wednesday Vladimir Putin met with his Venezuelan counterpart to "strengthen diplomatic relations" that resulted in more than 6,000 million dollars
Thus, Venezuela is left with a new debt of approximately 18,000 million dollars, for the new term of Nicolás Maduro that will begin as of January 10.
