It was reported last night that Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) recently met with Wikileaks founder Julian Assange. According to Rep. Rohrabacher, during their meeting, Assange stated that he could prove the leaked DNC documents published during last year's Presidential Election, did not come from Russia.

In a recent report by The Daily Caller, congressional members stated that if Assange does have information proving that Russia is not the source that gave him the DNC email, that the possibility of forgiveness could be on the table.

Rep. Rohrabacher goes on to state that Assange, "... has information that will be very important to the United States and the people of our country as well as to our government." As a result, it will follow it in exchange for this information, Assange will expect something in return, forgiveness.

As noted by congressmen, Assange will not be able to leave the embassy to be able to go to Washington without receiving a pardon, as he is still sought by British police for "failing to surrender". Instead of surrendering himself to British police in 2012, Assange sought and was granted political asylum by the Ecuadorian embassy, where he has lived for the past five years.

It was also reported that although Sweden revoked their arrest warrants, the US Department of Justice, under Attorney General Jeff Sessions, had been working to prepare a series of allegations of their own for Assange's arrest. As a result, before serious discussions can be made about the source of DNC Wikileaks email, Assange is likely to want to be reassured that he will receive forgiveness.

Despite not receiving the information promised to him by Assange, the congressman declared that he was sure he would accept it. Members of the congress believe that ultimately they will receive this information, and that it will be "confusing and of great historical significance."

In the end, every chance Julian Assange receives clemency will eventually be in the hands of President Donald J. Trump
