Why does our "democracy" need so much secrecy??

in #informationwar5 years ago

If I hear the term "national security" used one more time as an excuse for keeping the dirty laundry of the dirtiest of our swamp creatures secret I am going to burst. Surely, even libtards who refer to Our Constitutional Republic as a "democracy" all the time must be sick of all the secrecy and lies, too, right?

Recently, we have discovered that there is way more dirty on Hillary Clinton and her treasonous underlings and hangers-on than we had previously been led to believe, and at least three U.S. Senators--bless their shallow neocon little partisan hearts--are at least anxious to get their hands on the material in order to boost neocon/RINO "good cop" chances against the liberal/leftist "bad cops" in the next Presidential/Congressional elections.

(This is what TREASON looks like...)

Pardon me if I don't believe they are interested in seeing this material to actually put the murderous witch and her treasonous husband in prison (or the electric chair--where they really both belong,) but to make sure that these materials are "vetted" by this neocon cabal to keep any further questions (on the odd chance a real patriot is ever again elected to the U.S. Senate) and/or requests for access from every having a snowball's chance in hell from ever reaching the general public.

(...and so is this...--the neocon choir boys. Courtesy of americanfreepress.net.)

After all, if Lispey Graham is now the keeper of our "national security," we are already far beyond just (pardon the "French") totally screwed and just waiting for the final coup de grace to our sovereignty and national existence.

from their perspective, classifying everything as confidential is quite practical... and with the full support of the stenographers calling themselves journalists, there is no internal reasons for them to change. As an astute poster wrote, it's maybe because too much democracy was exported, and nothing is left. Externally, however, if they have no reason to be accountable for their mistakes, failings and willing failures there will inevitably be a price to pay relative to those who will willingly try their best to not fall on the same pitfalls. A good example is the time it took to recognize that the humvees were ieds magnets...

I am not sure if mattis belongs to this picture, fallujah was quite publicized, and it seems he tried to embark on an efficiency, waste, cost review at the dod... I guess some didn't like it :).

Right. I am trying to get the American people to insist on a little "democracy" here at home and to give them a reason (firing squad or honesty) to reform themselves and to respect their bosses.

nope, it's worst, it will be the world. By the arrogance of believing to be n1, the us civilian and intelligence communities allowed epstein to run a pedo island for the powerful... guess, what it really does to the moral of the troops (and I include everyone, from the grunt front line types to the wizards of various fields) and why do you think the first thing the chineses (masters of wars in large scale since before christ) insist so much on corruption? there must a practical reason too beyond the moral issue... and guess what will happen to the corrupt societies or civilization in the long term? ask the chineses, they know the price of corruption... and as a hint, it's the most heaviest one. Or look at Egypt, Greece or Rome... yeah... it's gone :). When hope is the only thing left... the poets of the downfalls will have fun at least :).

I agree. We have very likely past the point of no return.

Lispey Graham. LOL. Hadn't heard that one before.

LOL..another Martin original.
