The Joe Rogan Agenda

in #informationwar6 years ago (edited)

Is Joe Rogan an agent of the New World Order? Call it what you want, Dark Cabal, Illuminatti, etc... For the purposes of this blog we will call it the New World Order. And the following is an exploration into this question.

Having listened to the Joe Rogan Experience for a long time, I began to notice a pattern. And, I have to admit, I did not want to notice the pattern because Joe Rogan is cool. But, perhaps his charismatic personality and biting humor is part of the entire presentation used to sell you a bill of goods. And that would be an agenda that includes Materialist Reductionism, #Transhumanism, sensationalistic distraction, and worst of all, ridicule of anyone or anything that does not fit this agenda.

Of course, I will need tp provide examples as I do not abide to mere slander. I will point it out. The following is a set of anecdotes that support my claim that Joe Rogan is either a witting agent of the #NewWorldOrder or that he is so infused with #Hollywood bullshit that he is useless to the #InformationWar.

One of the first places I noticed Joe Rogan supporting a New World Order agenda was during one of his stand up comedy specials. While I am certainly not going to grill Joe over his polished stand-up act, I am going to take him to task for one piece of content. He has a bit where he wants the audience to agree with him that commenting on YouTube videos is a waste of time. Considering the censorship and shadow banning we are seeing in #SocialMedia today, he is right. But, when he made this joke it was years before this was common knowledge. And it was telling that he was supporting an agenda of non-communication, and hence weakening the awareness of humanity. As I think we all know as Information Warriors that interacting online and discussing videos is a powerful tool for creating a consensus, calling out those who discuss things online is suspicious at best.

One example is on JRE #961 . In this podcast, Joe Rogan hosted alternative geology and alternative history researchers Randall Carlson and Graham Hancock with skeptic Michael Shermer. On previous podcasts Joe Rogan has called Shermer a friend. And when you see how Shermer operates, he isn't as much of a skeptic as he is an interrupter. That is, Shermer does not use logic to support his argument. Instead, Shermer interrupts and continually brings up skeptical viewpoints that have been debunked. And his tactic seems to fluster someone rather than actually make a point. And these tactics are not even classical skepticism. His technique is more of what Stanton Friedman calls a "noisy negativist". On top of this, the backlash against Graham Hancock by trolls supportive of Shermer was so bad it caused him health problems. So some serious negative energy was flowing here. And when you consider that Joe Rogan has cultivated this audience, it paints a dark picture on his entire body of work.

There is a continual theme of Transhumanism in his podcasts. Too many guests to cover all of these examples. But, one of his guests was Zoltan Istvan, author of The Transhumanist Wager. And while Joe did make some good questioning interjections about the main character in the book waging a war against Christianity, there are several other shows where Joe Rogan agrees with the idea that, [paraphrased] "all of civilization is geared into making this one big A.I. God.".

When he has one guest on and supports this point of view, that is an incident. But, when over and over, he has guests on who support transhumanism and he agrees that all of civilization is so we can create this one huge A.I. God, then as an Information Warrior, you have to question if Joe Rogan is supporting an agenda or not.

Alex Jones warned everyone about DMT for along time. And Joe promotes using DMT. Above is a very funny techno-trance mix of Alex Jones' warning against DMT. And if you understand how your own energy field can be corrupted with mind altering chemicals, you will agree, promoting the use of drugs as much as Joe Rogan does, seems to be part of an agenda to weaken and disempower independent thought. And it is independent thought that is at the heart of the resistance to the New World Order.

This all happened before when the Peace Movement was infested with LSD back in the 60's. Also, add in Rogan's non-stop promotion of weed. As powerful as modern marijuana has become, and knowing a lot of kids and young people look up to and listen to him, constantly promoting it the way he does seems more than simply negligence. It seems more like part of the agenda to dissuade dissent against the New World Order, in the masses.

Badmouthing past guests and dead people is one sure fire way to make people not like you. And it seems, the JRE has built such a cult following, that the daring of what they say and about whom they say things has reached unimpeachable status. I drew the line at the badmouthing legendary comedian Bill Hicks. The late Bill Hicks mixed his comedy with philosophy and is one of the most celebrated and infamous comics in history. It can even be said that his popularity grew after his death with the advent of YouTube, (pre-censorship era). But, on a JRE with guest Ari Sharrif, he and Rogan badmouthed Bill Hicks asking, "Where's the joke?". And when you consider all of Ari Shaffir's act is all about pick up artist bullshit, poop, and dicks, and compare that to the thought provoking work of Hicks, again the New World Order agenda seems to creep into the JRE. Why would anyone bring up a dead comedian who had thought provoking comedy? Would it be that there is an agenda to stem the tide of thought provoking questions?

Another example of a technique I feel is being used by Joe Rogan is distraction. He seems to entertain the rantings of Eddy Bravo and his Flat Earth ideas a bit too often. The idea is so silly and ancient that anyone with two braincells to rub together would not even consider the idea. And it makes me think Eddy Bravo is part of the agenda as his charisma is being used here to promote a distraction. And arguing about a flat Earth being the waste of time that it is, only paints the JRE further into a corner as a tool of the New World Order.

Granted, I do not subscribe to a lot of what Steven Greer has to say. But, he did organize one of the biggest and most important events in world history, and that was the National Press Club brief on UFOs. Over 80 former government workers came forward to disclose their experiences with UFOs. That was right before 911. And After Greer promoted a film on the JRE, the very next podcast, Rogan and Brian Redban went on and on about how Greer is "batshit crazy". Perhaps his CSETI protocols are ridiculous. Discrediting someone when they are not there to defend themselves, again speaks of an agenda to sway an audience into a specific vector of thinking. What was Rogan so worried about that he could not criticize Greer to his face? Was Greer's research into alternative energy going to come to the forefront in a context that would have struck a cord with the audience?

Although the JRE episode with Bobcat contains a rather narrow view of the UFO field, it also contains one of the best stories ever when Bobcat talks about doing his stand-up act at the Gathering of the Juggalos. And it is these moments that are so great and fantastically funny that help draw people to the JRE. And sadly once you get a loyal audience, sprinkling in agenda will ultimately be taken in as fact.

Another example of discrediting came in the form of discrediting an entire genre. Once again, it was UFOs. And regardless of what you think about it, there is solid radar, gun camera, and trained observer evidence that there is something in the Earth's atmosphere that is not man-made. What it is and where is comes from is pure speculation. But during an interview with Bobcat Goldthwait, that was specifically promoting a film about Bigfoot, both the guest and Rogan had negative things to say about UFO research. Granted, there are a lot of ridiculous people out there. The worst of course being Corey Goode and his Blue Chicken people crap. But, for a guy who sells his podcast as "openminded", this was yet another example of a New World Order agenda being foisted on the impressionable minds of his fans. This is because over time, one of the most important questions about UFOs is "What is powering them?". And if you ask this question, you begin to see the disparity in a fossil fuel run world vs hidden technologies that could liberate humanity. And promoting the New World Order viewpoint by distracting people with mystery simians, over the liberation of humanity, reeks of agenda.

Here Joe Rogan lays down some basic metaphysics. Is my take on Joe Rogan a product of some sort of negative disorder I see the world with? Or has years of meditation opened my eyes to a ruthless and calculating person Hell-bent on promoting a specific agenda? Is his point of view skewed by an outside agenda or is he coming to his own conclusions?

Ironically, Joe Rogan is filled with all sorts of wisdom. And, it seems that over time, he has either been compromised by a New World Order agenda, or has given into the status quo peer pressure from his fellow comedians. Or, it could be that my view of his outlook is perhaps we do not see that he is a product of Hollywood. Granted, he broke away from the cycle of auditioning for film & TV roles, and has created enough of a following to draw huge crowds for his stand-up when he tours. So, with all the faults I've found in Joe Rogan in this article, I will accept that perhaps he is simply a product of his environment. And that idea might comfort you. But, for me, that ship has sailed. It's because I've watched his show too many times to accept that the totality of what he believes is simply a point of view. And in fact I've come to view his entire outlook with so much skepticism, that I had to write this blog about him.

For a long time, I was skeptical of my own observations about the JRE. But, that ended when after he had on Alex Jones for JRE 911, and he badmouthed him afterwards. Granted, Jones is impulsive and caustic sometimes. But again, badmouthing a guest when they are not in the studio to defend themselves comes off as having an agenda to promote. And perhaps many people here believe that Jones is also a disinformation agent. But, when Joe Rogan badmouthed Jones only weeks before the deplatforming of infowars, it made me reopen this line of thinking.

But, perhaps Joe Rogan got in too deep for his ethical guidelines to handle. In a recent JRE with Jimmy Dore, the podcast discusses the slippery slope we are on censoring Alex Jones and several other alternative news broadcasters. Perhaps where the rubber meets the road, Joe Rogan is going to realize supporting an agenda that is also what #BigTech wants ultimately will also be his own undoing. But, when you listen to this podcast Rogan plays the Devil's Advocate all too well. Maybe this is his honest speculation. Maybe this is Rogan acting as an agent for an agenda. Either way, I've had to find other podcasts to help me melt the miles away when I take a road trip. Interesting guy: use with caution.

Granted this entire post could be entirely based on professional jealousy. I'm telling you it's not because I've never wanted to spend the night in one of the cum-soaked condos that comedians are put up in when they tour comedy clubs. With Rogan's popularity, he has graduated away from comedy clubs and works theaters now. But, I have to say, after dabbling with comedy just long enough to figure out what the "prize" was for all that hard work and success, I backed off and got into sketch comedy, improv, and filmmaking.

Wrote all this before I found out Joe Rogan invited Alex Jones on again to discuss censorship. That said, I hope my observations about Joe Rogan are wrong. Developing! https://www.pscp.tv/w/1kvJpaWOMyMxE

Sort:

My name is Joe, too, and Rogan is cool in some ways, and he helps a general crowd of people like him, and average Americans who are interested in people like Joe. So, it is better to have Joe than no Joe.

Alex Jones

In 2016, people were saying that Bill Clinton is a rapist on the dinosaur media, in live events. Info Wars pushed that. Alex Jones predicted 9/11 or something like that in 2000. Alex helps people much more than Rogan does. I listen to bits and pieces of Joe. I find Joe to be interesting as he is a person. For breaking news, I listen to Alex and to others.

Hard for me to listen to Alex all the time. But,I am not happy he was deplatformed. As freedom loving Americans, we should have the option to easily find whom we want online. Sometimes funny with episodes of being caustic, he has a good track record of predicting events.

Do you like to listen to David Knight, Owen Shroyer, or Millie Weaver? Do you like to listen to @Stefan.Molyneux who YouTube tried to ban or @Cernovich, for example?

Yes! But I also have to admit, I cannot listen to infowars all the time. Sometimes they are just too negative for me. @Stefan.Molyneux is very smart and thoughtful. But I do not listen to him a lot.

I like to do my own research. I use newsBlur and read a lot of different sources and try to figure things out myself. It's good to gin your own perspective.

That's the beauty of it. I tend to Alex Jones during the day when I'm ready for all of it. But if I'm tired, in different mood, at night, feeling sad, or something, then I may put on David Knight, or maybe Lionel Nation, maybe Jerome Corsi, maybe Scott Adams, or another person with a soft smooth voice which is easier for falling asleep to.

Long time listener of JRE here, I've been having these exact same thoughts about Rogan over the last couple of years. Perhaps with popularity comes new pressures, I realize that this could be a possibility but I also feel that Rogan is out of touch with reality, and woefully uninformed in a number of areas. You presented a really nice collection of examples here to back up your claims.

I've also been putting together some ideas for a post about JRE as a cultural gatekeeper.

One thing I've noticed from time to time is that when topics start to veer into conspiratorial talk or into territory that is a little sensitive, Rogan is quick to light up a spliff with the guest. They end up getting high, with Joe making childish jokes about the subject matter and it works to undermine any points being made and the interviewee.

However, the recent Jimmy Dore episode was quite excellent, I'd like to add.

Thats a trip! Very happy to hear I was not the only one who noticed this. Yes, the Jimmy Dore on JRE clip I included in this blog has a lot to do with how I worded it.

I'm just asking questions, (say that in your head the way Jesse Ventura speaks! LOL).

Not sure if Rogan has sudden awoke to all this or if he is luring Alex Jones in for something bad.

While I do leave it open ended as to the motivation of his actions, the fact is, he did do these things. And it is hard for me to believe someone who has such smart comedy could be so detached from reality that severely.

But, I hope thats all it is.

Yeah, Joe Rogan appears to be a cultural gatekeeper like you say.
