Well, this is gonna end badly.
Its now going to be West Colorado vs East Colorado.
But, if Kalifonia and New York also adopt this, then democrats may be doomed. As there are a lot of Republicans that do not vote in either of those states.
Further, with the destruction of the Democrat party, this popular vote thing will turn into a three vote for no one.
I grew up in West Colorado and yes it felt like a completely different state. We would often get pissed off at how laws and stuff voted by people on the other side of the continental divide would only impact those of us in Western Colorado adversely.
I live in a suburb of Denver now so I am on the Eastern slope, and there are plenty of us over here that are against this lunacy as well.
