Yes, the .223 leaves the wounded combat effective. THAT is the base problem with the .223! Unacceptable!
Our Brave soldiers need a Combat Rifle that has serious knock down power, so they can safely do their jobs!

The existing M-16 could be directly changed into a 6.5 mm grendel by just changing the upper unit.

They are looking. I think the 6.8mm has the best chance. Good round, easy changeover!
Thankfully, they are actively looking now! I am mildly interested in the 300 backout myself.
