Thousands of small fish are destroyed / ribuan ikan musnah

Thousands of small fish are destroyed every day because of traditional fishing nets in North Aceh, Indonesia. The fishermen use fishing gear like a trawl, so the little fish get trapped. But the fishermen did not take the fish, so it was left to die on the sand of the beach.

As in the photo, seen small fish die on the coast of Dewantara, North Aceh. The poor fishermen were forced to use fishing gear like that. They have no other choice. Conditions that, received less attention from the local government.

Ribuan ikan kecil musnah setiap hari karena jaring nelayan tradisional di Aceh Utara, Indonesia. Para nelayan menggunakan alat tangkap semacam pukat, sehingga ikan-ikan kecil ikut terjebak. Namun nelayan tidak mengambil ikan-ikan itu, sehingga dibiarkan mati di atas pasir pantai.

Seperti dalam photo, terlihat ikan-ikan kecil mati di pantai Dewantara, Aceh Utara. Para nelayan miskin terpaksa menggunakan alat tangkap ikan seperti itu. Mereka tidak punya pilihan lain. Kondisi itu, kurang mendapat perhatian pemerintah daerah setempat.
