Mendung menggelantung
Menutup cerah mentari
Angin menghembus dingin
Ini sore dingin nan dingin
Aku tak dapat lambaian mentari
Kali ini, kala ia pamit
Kala malam berangsur datang.
Aku pernah berjalan dalam deras hujan
Tanpa kuyup, tanpa dingin
Mentari menuntunku dari balik mendung
Di atas tanah basah ini
Derap kaki harus tetap berderap.
