Kupi adalah bahasa Aceh untuk sebutan Kopi. di wilayah Barat Aceh, ada satu tradisi minum kopi dengan cara unik dan diyakini hanya ada satu-satu di dunia adalah "Kupi Khop".

Khop adalah bahasa Aceh bermakna Telungkup, jadi bisa disebut Kopi Telungkup. Mungkin rasanya sama saja dengan kopi lain , hanya saja berbeda dari cara minum, yaitu menyedot kopi yang merembes dari bibir gelas yang dibalikkan menggunakan sedotan atau diminum dari piring kecil.

Kata teman saya, minumlah kopi Khop saat masih hangat, akan terasa sangat nikmat. Lebih nikmat lagi minum Kopi asal Aceh Barat itu dari tempat ketinggian dengan pemandangan lepas pantai.

Bila teman-teman dari luar negeri berkunjung ke Aceh, jangan lupa ke kawasan Aceh Barat dan singgahlah di warung-warung di tepi pantai, anda pasti menemukan Kupi Khop. Saya jamin anda akan ketagihan dengan sensasi baru cara minum kopi unik orang Aceh..hehehe

Kupi Khop Very Tasty

Kupi are the Acehnese to Coffee designations. in the area of West Aceh, there is a tradition of drinking coffee with the unique way and it is believed there are only a one on one in the world is "Kupi Khop ".

Khop is an Acehnese means face-down, so can be called face-down Coffee. Maybe it tastes just the same as other coffees, it's just different ways of drinking coffee siphon, i.e. that oozes from the glass lip be reversed using a straw or drink from the small plates.
