Good evening all steemians friends. How are you guys today? May be always in good health and always in the protection of God Almighty.
On this night I will write about the coconut shoot or u timoh (aceh language) which became one of Aceh's traditional traditions while delivering the bridegroom to the bride's home. Do not think of just bringing ordinary coconut shoots without any decoration, in my area various forms of decoration to beautify the appearance of coconut shoots, there is made shaped custom house aceh, there is a ship-shaped, butterfly, airplane-shaped and various other shapes.
The coconut sprout is a symbol that today is the starting point of building the family ark and is expected to grow like a coconut tree where each part has its benefits and nothing is in vain.
Well on this post I will share some photos that I documented during preparation before the groom's delivery event. The coincidence of being the bridegroom is my own brother. Hope you guys like it.
This budding coconut ornament is my own brother who made it. This decoration in the form of canteen using bamboo material. The manufacturing process takes about 2 weeks.

Selamat malam sahabat steemians semua. Apa kabar kalian hari ini? Semoga selalu dalam keadaan sehat dan selalu dalam lindungan Tuhan Yang Maha Esa.
Pada malam ini saya akan menulis tentang kelapa tunas atau u timoh (bahasa aceh) yang menjadi salah satu tradisi adat Aceh saat mengantar mempelai pria ke rumah mempelai wanita. Jangan kalian pikir hanya membawa kelapa tunas biasa tanpa ada hiasan, di daerah saya beragam bentuk hiasan untuk mempercantik tampilan kelapa tunas, ada dibuat berbentuk rumah adat aceh, ada yang berbentuk kapal, berbentuk kupu-kupu, berbentuk pesawat dan bermacam-macam bentuk lainnya.
Kelapa bertunas yaitu sebagai lambang bahwa hari ini adalah titik awal membina bahtera keluarga dan diharapkan dapat tumbuh laksana tumbuhnya pohon kelapa dimana setiap bagiannya memiliki manfaat dan tidak ada yang sis-sia.
Nah pada postingan ini saya akan membagikan beberapa foto yang saya dokumentasikan saat persiapan sebelum acara pengantaran mempelai pria. Kebetulan yang menjadi mempelai prianya adalah abang saya sendiri. Semoga kalian menyukainya.
Hiasan kelapa bertunas ini abang saya sendiri yang membuatnya. Hiasan ini berbentuk kantin menggunakan bahan bambu. Proses pembuatannya membutuhkan waktu sekitar 2 minggu. Jadi bila kalian ingin menikah jangan lupa hubungi saya biar dibuatin hiasan kelapa bertunas seperti ini. Hehe
