Poso - Indonesia is a warehouse of cultural wonders. For example, a megalithic statue in Lore Lindu National Park (TNLL) of Central Sulawesi. Not inferior to the Statue of Easter Island.
These are statues made of solid stone. The location is in TNLL Kabupaten Poso, Central Sulawesi



The large statue-shaped statues and other shapes are a prehistoric legacy of the stone age and sort of on Easter Island, Chile.
The sculpture is made of stone carved an average oval shape. There is also this megalithic stone that resembles a water tank.


At the top of the statue is made to resemble the head complete with eyes to mouth. The megalithic stones are estimated to date from 3000-1300 BC.


There are approximately 419 Megaliths scattered in and around the area of TNLL


Distribution details, 43 are in Lore Utara, 306 in Lore Tengah, 57 in South Lore, and 13 in Kulawi.


These megalithic statues are thought to be worship of the ancestors. The highest statue measuring 4 meters, but most measuring 1.5-2.5 meters

TNLL can be reached by road trip from Poso. It takes 5 hours by 4 wheel drive.
In TNLL there are many beautiful destinations. There are Lake Lindu, Wuasa Waterfall, Lake Tambing, track tour track, bird watching, wildlife observation, camping ground, and megalith stone (Bambang Prijombodho / detikTravel).
