Aceh di serang HIV/AIDS mungkin kata-kata ini sudah sering kita dengar, dan kita anggap hal bisa, tapi tahukah anda bahwa di Provinsi Aceh kota Banda Aceh menduduki peringkat pertama jumlah penderita penyakit yang sangat mematikan.

Virus ini banyak ditemukan pada usia produktif antara usia 20-45 tahun, umumnya disebabkan karena hubungan seks.

pada tahun 2017, dari 23 Kabupaten/Kota di Aceh, Kota Banda Aceh terbanyak penderita yakni 77 kasus, Aceh Utara sebanyak 76 kasus, Aceh Tamiang 63 kasus, Bieureun 50 kasus, dan Lhokseumawe 40 kasus.

Sementara itu Kabupaten Pidie, terdapat 37 kasus, Kota Langsa 36 kasus, Aceh Besar 33 kasus, Aceh Tenggara 33 kasus, dan Aceh Timur 30 kasus.

Data diatas di dapat dari Dinas kesehatan Aceh, menurut informasi ada 1.300 kasus HIV AIDS di Aceh, tapi yang terdata hanya sekitar 600 kasus. Artinya masih ada banyak kasus yang belum terdeteksi. Sementara jumlah pengidap HIV/AIDS di Aceh terus meningkat setiap tahunnya.

Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, Dinas Kesehatan telah melakukan sosialisasi dan memperbanyak akses, para penderita dengan gejala HIV/AIDS untuk tidak takut mendatangi klinik pemeriksaan atau konseling serta melakukan tes secara sukarela.

masyarakat juga diharapakan tidak melakukan diskriminasi dan stigmatisasi terhadap pasien atau pengidap HIV/AIDS sehingga mereka merasa dikucilkan dan semakin sulit untuk terdeteksi dan diobati, karena tidak semua penderita akibat kesalahan dirinya, bisa jadi akibat jarum suntik atau hal yg tidak terduga lainnya yang sudah tercemar virus mematikan ini, atau seperti anak yang terlahir dari ibu seorang penderita.

Para stemian, cara paling efektif untuk menangkal penyakit yang belum ada obatnya ini adalah dengan meningkatkan ketahanan dan pemahaman dalam keluarga tentang penyakit ini, serta membina hubungan keluarga yang harmonis, karena dari keluarga yang harmonis, saling setia, juga menjaga pergaulan anak kita supaya tidak terkena risiko yang terjerumus terhadap HIV/AIDS, maka penyakit ini mampu di tekan penyebarannya, minimal pada keluarga kita.
