Pada akhirnya kita memang harus saling memahami terhadap keberagaman yang ada di Nusantara ini. Bhineka Tunggal Ika yang didengungkan selama ini cenderung ditafsirkan secara parsial. Tanpa sadar tafsir kesatuan (Tunggal Ika) mendominasi alam berpikir kita sehingga semua persoalan dipaksa untuk melihat dari satu frame kesatuan. Di saat yang sama kita cenderung mengabaikan unsur keberagaman (Bhineka) yang seharusnya kita pahami bersama bahwa ia sama sekali tidak bisa dipersatukan. Perbedaan yang selama ini seharusnya menjadi aset yang harus dilestarikan justru tergerus demi mempertahankan alasan 'kepentingan nasional'.
