Photography on the seafront of Aceh
The color of the clear sea water is turquoise green, the calm ripples swept gently on the white sandy beach. This is a story about the beauty of Meulingge Beach which is rarely exposed to the media.
The island of Aceh is a sub-district name located in Aceh Besar District, Aceh Province, which is the most western. On this island there are two large islands, namely Nasi Island and Breuh Island (in Indonesian means rice: red).
The Pulo Breuh settlement is divided into several mukim, one of which is the Pulo Breuh Utara mukim and the two villages in this archipelago are Meulingge and Rinon Villages. Here the people are farmers and fishermen who depend their lives on gardening and fishing in the sea.
arrived here a while ago. Meulingge village became our first destination village to enjoy the beauty of the natural panorama of the sea which is still natural and not yet visited. Because tourist facilities do not yet exist in this place, although the beach has a selling value for foreign and local tourists, for diving, snorkeling and fishing.
Oh yes, transfortasi access to Pulo Breuh can be traversed through a small pier from Lampulo Village, Banda Aceh to the wooden dock of Gugop Village in Mukim Pulo Breuh Selatan. The schedule is to leave the boat from Lampulo-Gugop every day, at 14.00 WIB, if the weather is not friendly, then the boat will leave at 18.00 WIB, but if it is dangerous, the boat may not depart.
For fees to Pulo Breuh, each person is charged Rp. 25 thousand. If you bring a motorcycle Rp. 60 thousand / unit, with details of Rp. 20,000, the cost of transporting the motorbike to the boat, the security of the motorbike in the boat is Rp. 20 thousand and the cost of lowering the motorbike is Rp. 20 thousand. But if the group leaves, you will get a special discount.
It is recommended that you go with a motorcycle because there is no public transport there. The risk, after being from Pulo Aceh, is to get ready for your two-wheeled vehicle to experience rust if not treated, because the salt content of sea water in Pulo Breuh is very high.
We arrived at Melingge Beach when the sun would move down to "rest", around 5:15 p.m. Seen by us white sand with soothing ocean beds. Meulingge Port can be reached in about 3 hours from Lampulo Harbor, Banda Aceh to the Port of Gugop.
Then, when we arrived from the port, we continued on a motorbike to Meulingge Village, which was about an hour away. A steep sloping road, with extreme caution we passed it. Understandably, the road is not as smooth as paved in neighboring Pulo Nasi.
But fatigue was reciprocated, when we saw a natural panorama that was still natural, the color of the sky that still looked blue, even though it was no longer hot, then added to the color of the sea, turquoise and white sand, really exotic.
We also take selfies and capture every corner of the beauty of Meulingge Beach which is still "Virgin". For a moment we rested, enjoying the soft drinks and snacks we brought from Banda Aceh. Understandably kiosks and houses are rarely located here. There are also no cafes, let alone star hotels. Want to sleep, make use of the housing facilities of the residents, as well as eat messages with residents because the rice stalls are far away and sell for a certain time.
The night is getting thicker. After enjoying the beautiful and exotic sea views. We are also presented with a night view that is not less beautiful. Subhanallah, amazing. Star sprinkles form constellations, the moon shines brightly even though the shape is not as full as a full moon. Indeed tourism is suitable for calming down or looking for inspiration.
Breuh Island is no less interesting to be a tourist place, although tourists have not visited this place yet. Because there is still a lack of tourist facilities, even though electricity has reached the village, the mobile signal is still quiet. So it is suitable for self-calming tours.
