Footstep Around The World #8 : Let's Donate For Central Sulawesi

Rumah Relawan Remaja, a humanitarian organization in Aceh which was founded by my husband in 2013 sent representative of the Emergency Response Team for Central Sulawesi, a place where the earthquake and tsunami happened (September 28,2018). Our representative reported that the situation in Palu, capital city of Central Sulawesi is very bad. A good system for coordinating the evacuees has not yet been developed. because it is to difficult to find the heavy machinery needed to access some of the more devastated and difficult to reach places, many bodies have yet to be found. Everything is also very expensive in Palu at this time. For example, fuel costs are currently up to around 50.000 rupiah per liter (normally less than 10.000 rupiah/liter).
