Purchase of Manhattan

Hello Steem relatives !

A little story: Manhattan is within the territory of the indigenous Lenape homeland and it means “island” or “the place where wood is gathered to make the bows.”
Lenape Center is a non-profit I co-founded and co-direct. We produced a concert opera composed by Mohican composer Brent Michael Davids, which was premiered in 2014 in Manhattan and will again he produced in 2019. See the really short video :
