INDIAN TRADITIONAL BAMBOO CHICKEN
Bamboo chicken is a traditional tribal cuisine of Araku valley(Andhra Pradesh). it is absolutely oil free delicious food.bamboo chicken is very nutritional rich food made by stuffing the bamboo with chicken and cooked on coal..earlier this dish was prepared by tribals in India..
INGREDIENTS
•boneless chicken-500grams
•salt to taste
•red chilly power-1tsp
•turmeric power-1/4tsp
•garlic paste-1tsp
•Garam masala powder-1tsp
•cooking oil-2tsp
•chopped onions-3tsp
•chopped chillies-2tsp
•chicken masala powder-1tsp
PREPARATION METHOD
•take the chicken and wash it properly
•mix all the ingredients into the chicken well and let the chicken observe the flavours
•cut and clean the bamboo shoot
•fill the chicken into the bamboo
•cover the bamboo with clean leaves
• make fire and place the bamboo shoot for around 40-50min on medium flame
•later carefully remove the bamboo from the fire
•remove the covered leaves and serve it on a plate
•garnish it with onions and serve hot
